A GatorDock Floating Dock consists of a marine grade aluminum frame platform supported by floats. These docks (also called pontoons) are usually joined to the shore with a gangway that rests upon the dock on rollers, to adjust for the vertical movement of the dock. The dock is usually held in place by vertical poles embedded in the soil under the water or by anchored cables.
Frequently used in boat marinas, GatorDock floating docks maintain a fixed vertical relationship to watercraft secured to it, independent of tidal, river, or lake elevation. Your dock raises and lowers with the tide, and works in perfect combination with GatorDock Gangways.
There are many different options to consider when looking at a floating dock. GatorDock offers all sorts of options that are customized: bumpers, corners, fenders, cleats, pile guides. GatorDock also comes in several different decking options: concrete deck, Brazilian hard woods, aluminum or composites.
Regardless of the look you order Gator™ Floating Docks from CMI offer an ideal combination of performance, aesthetic appeal, durability and value. |
